Town by town

Lynnwood — home base, ZIP 98036, 98037, 98087

Lynnwood is the home base: the shop is on Highway 99 at 160th in north Lynnwood, so Martha Lake, Alderwood and Meadowdale calls are the shortest on the route sheet. We cover Alderwood, Alderwood Manor, Martha Lake, Meadowdale, Perrinville, Scriber Lake, North Lynnwood, Picnic Point.

Edmonds — 12 min from the shop, ZIP 98020, 98026

Edmonds runs from the ferry dock and the Bowl up the hill to Five Corners and Perrinville, and the salt air near the waterfront is part of the picture for anything metal in a spa cabinet. We cover the Bowl, Seaview, Westgate, Five Corners, Perrinville, Meadowdale, Esperance, Firdale.

Mountlake Terrace — 12 min from the shop, ZIP 98043

Mountlake Terrace is a compact grid of 1950s and 60s ramblers between Lake Ballinger and I-5, and most of its hot tubs sit on original concrete patios that have settled over sixty years. We cover Lake Ballinger, Cedar Way, Melody Hill, Town Center, Gateway, Terrace Creek.

Bothell — 18 min from the shop, ZIP 98011, 98012, 98021

Bothell stretches from the old downtown on the Sammamish River up to Canyon Park and the newer North Creek and Thrasher's Corner subdivisions, where most of the tubs are under ten years old. We cover Canyon Park, North Creek, Downtown Bothell, Thrasher's Corner, Maywood, Fitzgerald, Queensgate, Westhill.

Mill Creek — 10 min from the shop, ZIP 98012, 98082

Mill Creek is mostly planned neighborhoods from the 1980s onward — the Country Club core, Silver Firs, Seattle Hill — with tubs on well-built decks and patios that are easy to service. We cover Mill Creek Town Center, Silver Firs, Seattle Hill, Thomas Lake, North Creek, Mays Pond, Country Club.

Everett — 12 min from the shop, ZIP 98201, 98203, 98204, 98208

Everett is the biggest city on the route and the most varied: hundred-year-old houses on the Riverside and Port Gardner grid, 1970s ramblers around Silver Lake and new construction out toward Eastmont and Paine Field. We cover Silver Lake, Cascade View, View Ridge, Port Gardner, Riverside, Lowell, Pinehurst, Boulevard Bluffs, Eastmont, Paine Field.

Mukilteo — 10 min from the shop, ZIP 98275

Mukilteo is bluff country: Harbour Pointe and Chennault Beach sit high over the Sound, and the tubs there are the most weather-exposed on our route. We cover Harbour Pointe, Old Town, Chennault Beach, Picnic Point, Goat Trail, Lighthouse Park area.

Shoreline — 20 min from the shop, ZIP 98133, 98155, 98177

Shoreline is the southern end of the route: mid-century neighbourhoods from Richmond Beach and Innis Arden on the Sound side across to Ridgecrest, North City and Briarcrest near Lake Forest Park. We cover Richmond Beach, Ridgecrest, Echo Lake, North City, Hillwood, Innis Arden, Briarcrest, Meridian Park, Ballinger.

Brier — 14 min from the shop, ZIP 98036

Brier is quiet and residential, with larger lots than its neighbours and tubs that are often a good walk from the house, down a path and behind a hedge. We cover Brier Park, Logan Park, Brierwood, the 228th corridor, Locust Way.

Kenmore — 20 min from the shop, ZIP 98028

Kenmore sits at the top of Lake Washington, with Inglewood and Arrowhead on the slopes and Uplake and Lakepointe near the water, and it is the far southeast corner of our route. We cover Inglewood, Arrowhead, Moorlands, Uplake, Lakepointe, Kenmore Village.

Just outside the circle?

Woodway, Lake Forest Park, Alderwood Manor, Martha Lake, Silver Firs, Picnic Point and Esperance are covered under the nearest town above. Kirkland, Snohomish, Marysville and Lake Stevens are a longer run — call and we will tell you honestly whether it works that week.
